Better late than never right? It’s so busy around here.
SO. Our littlest girl is two. On her day we took her to Shake Shake Shake for breakfast! The coffee wasn’t bad at all and the mugs it was served in were so cute. However, it was pretty greasy and they gave way too much food but it was fun nonetheless! One of the waitresses gave Belle (and Solace) a mini ice cream with whipped topping and sprinkles!
Right after breakfast, we headed to Ikea to purchase Belle’s birthday present. A kitchen set! We obviously ended up buying other things as well because, well, Ikea. Also, because Belle wanted to remind us that she just turned two and likes to be in control, she promptly pooped her pants in the middle of the store and had to go commando the rest of the trip because I forgot a change of clothes. Gah.
The kitchen is a huge hit here in this house and I love how their playroom is coming together!
After their nap, Emily and the Meysenburg kiddos showed up with cupcakes!
I was feeling pretty exhausted by this point so Nick and Allison took the girls down to the Sound to play! It was a beautiful day.
My only regret from the day is that I didn’t get a single picture with the birthday girl :( Next year! I can’t even imagine her being 3!
